Fresh Perspective

This will be my final post as president/chair of the Discover Polk CBD Board; my term ended on 31 August 2020 when my family moved our primary residence to a property outside the City. It has been my honor and great pleasure to watch the CBD develop and to work alongside a dedicated Board of property owners, business owners and other stakeholders of the Polk Gulch neighborhood. Our Executive Co-Directors, Ben Bleiman and Duncan Ley, and the Street Plus team have made a remarkable difference in the 8 months they’ve been part of Discover Polk. The community can be confident that they will continue to provide us with clean & safe services and creative activities & events to highlight the unique qualities of our neighborhood and to celebrate together. The CBD will thrive under new leadership, and I invite community members to join working groups and participate in CBD meetings and activities.
