08 Apr Six Foot Social Club!
Leave it to Ray Bair, owner of Cheese Plus at 2001 Polk Street, to come up with the idea of designing tote bags and shirts (now with Kids’ sizes!) to remind people to respect a 6-foot physical distance. A real plus is that it’s a campaign to raise funds for displaced workers and businesses. The shirts are made in a San Francisco legacy print shop and are actually quite attractive. All proceeds will go to neighboring businesses affected by COVID-19 business interruptions.
Ray has generously offered to share the design with other workers, businesses and communities who are interested in supporting businesses interrupted and displaced by the COVID-19 shelter in place orders. Check out the project on the cheeseplus website.
